Listen, this could be so quick,
If you were still like a stick.
Poems for Children by Mama Grace
Listen, this could be so quick,
If you were still like a stick.
Flying somewhere, it could be so much fun.
Except when you’ve got kids and you’re a mum.
I’d watch a movie and let time fly by
But I’ve no chance, I try, until you cry.
I’ve got that good feeling about some words, They bring so much happiness afterwards. They’re really simple to say; here’s a clue. You’ll be grateful…
And even though I know it’s so hard,
It’s going to be your bodyguard.
These leads are like tails, you don’t know what they’ll do,
It’s important that you don’t touch, as they could harm you.
Sleep happens in waves,
You let yourself fall.
I’ve rested my weary head,
In my battery recharge bed.
I hear you,
I’m listening,
No need to cry now.
If we take time now to wash the dirt away,
We can save the loo germs from ruining our play.
They are coming back, why wouldn’t they?
When being with you brightens their day.
