Listen, this could be so quick,
If you were still like a stick.
Poems for Children by Mama Grace
Listen, this could be so quick,
If you were still like a stick.
Flying somewhere, it could be so much fun.
Except when youāve got kids and you’re a mum.
Iād watch a movie and let time fly by
But Iāve no chance, I try, until you cry.
Iāve got that good feeling about some words, They bring so much happiness afterwards. Theyāre really simple to say; hereās a clue. Youāll be grateful…
And even though I know itās so hard,
Itās going to be your bodyguard.
These leads are like tails, you donāt know what theyāll do,
Itās important that you donāt touch, as they could harm you.
Sleep happens in waves,
You let yourself fall.
Iāve rested my weary head,
In my battery recharge bed.
I hear you,
Iām listening,
No need to cry now.
If we take time now to wash the dirt away,
We can save the loo germs from ruining our play.
They are coming back, why wouldnāt they?
When being with you brightens their day.
