There are so many things that I enjoy,
There’s a fallout from my nightly dreams.
I’ll wake to bring them all back together,
Then rest full from joy, bursting at the seams.
The same satisfaction comes day and night,
I’ll reach for the stars when I see a crack.
I could toast in sunshine or jump in clouds wee,
With the same mmm, as having a rice cake snack.
These rice cake dreams are my life’s soft pillow,
They cushion and fluff up all that is good. Click To Tweet

When I wake up and seek to sew my dreams,
Together my heart and mind has understood.

HaHa I’m amazed how much they’re loved. They’re called rice cookies here.

Great blog! Yeah the rice cakes are a metaphor for how childhood can be so happy because of finding pleasure in the simple things.
Sometimes only a rice cake will do – will definitely look at them in a new light now! Thanks for sharing with #PoCoLo

I never liked rice cakes much. You do obviously! 😉
Thanks for linking to #pocolo
No actually. I using it as a metaphor for being happy with something really simple; the sun on your back, jumping in a puddle or munching on a rice cake. It’s great to watch a little face really relish these pleasures.
