Though you’ll see bitter darkness, we will help joy rise
To indulge in chocolate under light brighter skies.
Poems for Children by Mama Grace
Though you’ll see bitter darkness, we will help joy rise
To indulge in chocolate under light brighter skies.
So let your baby steps move you near,
Towards your happy. Go! Without fear.
Brush them and polish them, treat them with care
And be the brightest smile millionaire.
There’s Nothing you can do,
I’m looking out for you
I’m forever picking bogies out of your nose,
I don’t even know how you would make all of those.
If I was a feather, I’d use my gentleness,
To stroke the world with kindness; spreading happiness.
Listen, this could be so quick,
If you were still like a stick.
Flying somewhere, it could be so much fun.
Except when you’ve got kids and you’re a mum.
I’d watch a movie and let time fly by
But I’ve no chance, I try, until you cry.
I’ve got that good feeling about some words, They bring so much happiness afterwards. They’re really simple to say; here’s a clue. You’ll be grateful…
And even though I know it’s so hard,
It’s going to be your bodyguard.
