There’s a silly noodle on my plate,
It won’t be picked up or cooperate.
Poems for Children by Mama Grace
There’s a silly noodle on my plate,
It won’t be picked up or cooperate.
When I wake up and seek to sew my dreams,
Together my heart and mind has understood.
Now what shall we do with this funny edged circle-square?
That doesn’t trust either shape and is now self aware.
There was so much to remember but it worked a charm,
All I had to do was set a wake-eat-sleep alarm.
Help me out,
Where’s your shoe?
Let’s get out,
Where’s your shoe?
I’m glad you’ve asked and it wasn’t a pooh
But weeing and poohing on things is not what we do.
Our time has now come to an end,
Know that you were the sweetest friend
Bye bye pooh, thanks for coming through,
It’s time to flush you down the loo,
Enjoy your journey toodaloo.
Mummy what will it be, a pooh or a wee?
There’s a different feeling for each, so you’ll tell me.
You can come back and tell me what you’ve done.
My only question will be, did you have fun?
