There’s a silly noodle on my plate,
It won’t be picked up or cooperate.
Poems for Children by Mama Grace
There’s a silly noodle on my plate,
It won’t be picked up or cooperate.
There you are randomly pecking away.
It’s my Magpie Child, sorting her prey.
Octopus arms, yes that’s what they call me!
Saving objects in my poor tea
So let your baby steps move you near,
Towards your happy. Go! Without fear.
If I was a feather, I’d use my gentleness,
To stroke the world with kindness; spreading happiness.
Listen, this could be so quick,
If you were still like a stick.
I’ve got that good feeling about some words, They bring so much happiness afterwards. They’re really simple to say; here’s a clue. You’ll be grateful…
I hear you,
I’m listening,
No need to cry now.
When you play with others,
It matters what you say.
When you play with others,
It matters how you play.
When mummy says to stop that,
She may know it won’t end well.
You’ll have to listen to her,
It’s not the time to rebel.
